Biodynamic massages are part of the biodynamic body-psychotherapy founded by the Norwegian psychologist and physiotherapist Gerda Boyesen. Their goal is not relaxation of stiff muscles, but energetic tuning of the client’s organism. Biodynamic body-psychotherapy itself is part of a wider stream of body-centered psychotherapy and biodynamic massages are just one of the many components of this therapeutic approach. All these massages take place on the client’s dressed body.
ORGONOMIC MASSAGE
(according to Wilhelm Reich)
Reich’s
original purpose of this full-body massage was to charge energy. We
work with so-called “white energy”, that is, energy that pulsates in
place and does not flow anywhere. The massage is suitable for clients
who have a much tightened body and will bring them more liveliness. It
is a technique of working with the body, where we invite the energy to
move it in the body in a very pleasant way, by means of several
pumpings, by the jelly-like movement of the hands placed in one place.
(note: this method is not recommended for clients with high blood pressure)
EXIT MASSAGE
The aim of this method is to drain excess body energy if it is too much and release the self-healing potential. It is not a work that releases muscle armor (caused by trauma), but an energy massage. In this massage we use gentle circular movements at various points on the body and help to release blocked impulses. Head massage helps clients who can’t stop the flow of thoughts. Hand massage helps release emotional energies – reach out and grasp, take what I desire. Foot massage helps people who do not feel grounded or afraid to step out, or when the body is stiff due to trauma.
The client controls the intensity and speed of the massage.
LIFTING MASSAGE
This method belongs to the biorelease category.
It
is mainly work on the joints, ie. where our energy is most blocked.
It’s an excellent technique for people who really have a lot of tension
in their body and people who need to open their breath.
Gradually,
with very gentle and circular techniques, during conscious breathing, we
lift the limbs and head, helping to release the blocked energy in the
joints.
DIAGNOSTICS AND READING OF ENERGY FROM THE BODY
In our
lives there are relationships and situations in which we can easily
realize that we are not only affected by what we say or how we dress,
but also the non-verbal component of our personality, which includes
body posture, breath, expression in the face. On the path of
self-knowledge, this method provides the client with information about
unconscious radiation and gives him feedback on his gestures.
IMAGINATIVE AND TACTILE TECHNIQUES IN EATING DISORDERS
Eating disorders are a group of diseases associated with our western civilization and include anorexia nervosa, bulimia nervosa and binge eating. It mainly affects young girls and women, but in 5% of cases it also occurs in men. Thoughts about thickness, food handling to reduce weight, and distorted body perception are typical. Anorexia nervosa is deliberate weight loss in various ways, especially rejection of diet, while bulimia nervosa is binge eating and subsequent vomiting. Binge eating, as the name suggests, also causes overeating, but usually without subsequent vomiting, so it is often associated with weight gain and occurs primarily as a reaction to stress, emotional distress, or depressed mood. In eating disorders, but with pathological treatment of food, the personality and relationships of such a sick person go hand in hand.
